I recommend for all ages- wonderful book to have forever. My granddaughter loves this book and I love reading it with her. The large size is captivating and the colors are amazing.

I plan to make this a staple birthday gift for 1 and 2 year olds. You truly can't go wrong with this one. This is my 14 month old's favorite book. As many reviews suggest, this can be a favorite for many years. I should note that we have the board book version which is great for the younger page-tearing set. It is a real joy to watch her learn these movements. It started at around 10 months with the hand clapping, and now she's bending her neck, wriggling her hips, stomping her feet, and just last week she started raising her shoulders.

I ask him what a gorilla does and he thumps his chest. Now, I don't even need the book. It is so much fun. My 1 1/2 year-old son loves this book. He acts out all of the animals.

She is not verbal but is VERY active--a plus when reading this book as she tends to rush through all the other books we read or snatch them away to turn the pages by herself. My 4 year-old and my 16 month-old LOVE this book. This book is also a great gift for birthdays. She never does that with this book and when we are finished she turns right back to page one. I have had it since my firstborn was 20 months and it is still going strong. My daughter, the youngest, has loved this book for 3 months now, requesting it every night with her customary grunts.

i did not know that. the book is huge. probably the reason why it is so expensive.but well worth it.definitely two thumbs up. this is a great interactive book. my 2.5 year old loves the challenge question after every animal 'can you do it.' our fav is the donkey kick.
